In house design and plan preparation for small to mid sized projects
Vero was founded on a desire to help others with their projects from conception, through completion and years beyond. Integrity is in our name and frames everything we do.
At the company’s core and critical to our success is the hands-on approach and whatever it takes mentality of founder Kevin.
Kevin’s breadth of experience spans nearly 20 years in construction and design in the fields of heavy civil and both residential and commercial building construction. Kevin is a licensed professional engineer with a B.S. in civil engineering from Union College and a M.S. degree in Construction management from Northeastern University. A collegiate All-American, captain of a national playoff team and currently an overly competitive CrossFit nut, Kevin understands the value of hard work and what it takes to lead a team to succeed.
At a very early age Kevin has always found great satisfaction in helping others, working hard, earning trust and leading by example. We look to instill those values at the very roots of VERO and at the foundation of each relationship we make.
We offer Peer Review and Constructability Review consulting services for Architects and Engineers who want a Builder's eye on the plans to identify constructability issues and suggest value added cost saving measures.
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our desire to service our clients, VERO can perform energy assessment services for your home or office.
Eliminate Waste. Choosing by Advantage. Last Planner System. Work waiting for workers not workers waiting for work.
Establishing a budget early and sticking to it through final design eliminates wasted design time and rework.
Before bidding and construction begins a detailed critical path schedule will be produced and written into all subcontractor and vendor agreements to establish accountability.
Dear Kevin & Paul, Were your ears burning this morning? I had a nice call from a lady from the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston about you, and of course I had only great things to say. If they get you as one of their vendors, they should count themselves lucky. You all have been amazing. God bless you! Your Grateful Fan, John The Rev. John H. Kevin was incredibly proactive in finding solutions to tricky problems. Finding routes for electrical, plumbing, and so forth. Some of these problems were very complicated. He headed off problems before they happened. That’s the technical half. He was also good at bringing different parties together. He cared about what our design intent was. He balanced the architects, the owner’s rep, the property owner, the facilities manager; and they all had different agendas. He was very skillful in negotiating with the different parties.
Dear Kevin, It is a great pleasure for us to give you a recommendation. We have been working together for almost 4 years, and have gotten to know the quality and consistency of your work during that time. Ours, as you well know, was not a simple project, it involved some very unique engineering and very complex coordination among expert teams. The result of this work is better than what we expected. Without your dedication, your creativity and discipline, we would not have had this outcome. As a result, we are very happy that we are continuing to work together on other projects. We have confidence in you and your work. I'm sure that any other projects that you become associated with will benefit greatly from your involvement. We are happy to give any verbal recommendations if that will be helpful. Thank you again for being a true professional. Kindest Regards, Henri and Belinda Termeer
"Kevin. Great attention to detail. When we needed pricing or other information, he got it. He was very accommodating. Knowledgeable. Smart. Always informed us of any delays. He was very proactive. We didn’t have to ask him. He was ahead of us. Everything revolved around Kevin, and he handled it well. "
